INFORMATION

The increase in the number and size of wind farms, leads inevitably to an increased possibility of interference with nearby radiocommunication, aircraft navigation and radar systems.

Guidelines regarding electromagnetic interference of wind farms

The construction of wind farms on land owned by major world powers is subject, in most cases, to comply with certain guidelines for electromagnetic interference. These guidelines are becoming more restrictive and demanding.

Countries around the world will increasingly adopt these guidelines in order to preserve the integrity of radiocommunication, aircraft navigation and radar systems during the construction of new wind farms.
